In the 1970's, a small business known as "Books, Strings and Things" stood at the heart of downtown Blacksburg, Virginia, known among students for its vast collection of used books, art supplies, and vinyl records. In the present day, a wealthy alumni of the Virginia Tech college of architecture has returned to Blacksburg to invest his/her life-long fortune into a modern recreation of this business, complete with:
